Planet Occurrence Rate Correlated to Stellar Dynamical History: Evidence from Kepler and Gaia

چکیده
The dynamical history of stars influences the formation and evolution planets significantly. To explore influence on planet from observations, we assume that who experienced significantly different histories tend to have relative velocities. Utilizing accurate Gaia-Kepler Stellar Properties Catalog, select single main-sequence divide these into three groups according their velocities, i.e. high-V, medium-V, low-V stars. After considering known biases Kepler data adopting prior posterior correction minimize stellar properties occurrence rate, find high-V a lower rate super-Earths sub-Neptunes (1--4 R$_{\rm \oplus}$, P<100 days) higher sub-Earth (0.5--1 R$_{ P<30 than Additionally, hot Jupiter sized (4--20 R$_{\oplus}$, P<10 slightly warm or cold 10<P<400 days). investigating multiplicity eccentricity, hosts prefer fraction multi-planets systems average which is consistent with eccentricity-multiplicity dichotomy planetary systems. All statistical results favor scenario large velocity may experience fewer gravitational events, while be influenced by clustering

Measurements of Stellar Inclinations for Kepler Planet Candidates
We present an investigation of spin-orbit angles for planetary system candidates reported by Kepler. By combining the rotational period Ps inferred from the flux variation due to starspots and the projected rotational velocity V sin Is and stellar radius obtained by a high resolution spectroscopy, we attempt to estimate the inclination Is of the stellar spin axis with respect to the line-of-sig...
متن کاملStellar Rotation from GAIA Spectra
Abstract. Stellar rotation influences our understanding of stellar structure and evolution, binary systems, clusters etc. and therefore the benefits of a large and highly accurate database on stellar rotation, obtained by GAIA, will be manifold. To study the prospects of GAIA measurement of projected rotational velocities vrot sin i, we use synthetic stellar spectra to simulate the determinatio...
متن کاملGiant Planet Occurrence in the Stellar Mass-Metallicity Plane
Correlations between stellar properties and the occurrence rate of exoplanets can be used to inform the target selection of future planet-search efforts and provide valuable clues about the planet-formation process. We analyze a sample of 1266 stars drawn from the California Planet Survey targets to determine the empirical functional form describing the likelihood of a star harboring a giant pl...
متن کاملBusiness cycles in Iran: Evidence from asymmetry and correlated shocks
In this Paper, business cycle asymmetry in Iran has been investigated using a nonlinear unobserved component model. In this regard, according to Kim and Nelsonchr('39')s (1999) interpretation of Friedman plucking model (1993), asymmetric transitory component has been modeled and simultaneously the possibility of a correlation between transitory and permanent shocks has also been considered. The...
متن کاملConstraining the false positive rate for Kepler planet candidates with multicolour photometry from the GTC
Using the Optical System for Imaging and low Resolution Integrated Spectroscopy (OSIRIS) instrument installed on the 10.4-m Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC), we acquired multicolour transit photometry of four small (Rp 5 R⊕) short-period (P 6 d) planet candidates recently identified by the Kepler space mission. These observations are part of a programme to constrain the false positive rate for sm...
